Philippe Catherine
Chief Executive Officer

Philippe Catherine brings 35 years of IT and Telecommunications Industry experience to his role. At 21net he is in charge of corporate strategy and responsible to the board for the company’s overall performance. Before joining 21net in 2013, Philippe was chairman & CEO of Mentum, an international software vendor in the wireless industry acquired by InfoVista. Previously, he was European sales & marketing manager for Rohde & Schwarz, after eight years as chairman & CEO of Rohde & Schwarz France and 16 years at Hewlett-Packard in services, sales & marketing roles in France and in Europe.

Philippe holds an Electronics and Computing Engineering degree from ESIEA in Paris.

Jean-François de Lantsheere
Deputy Managing Director and Co-Founder

Jean-François co-founded 21net in 2001. As deputy managing director he assists in business development activities. Before founding the company, he was General Manager of Network Services for Alcatel UK. Prior to this role, he was responsible for setting up new telecom ventures in Russia and Colombia for Alcatel and also served as General Manager of International Operations for Belgacom.

Jean-François holds a Law degree from Louvain University in Belgium and a masters in Law from New York University.

Pierre Eisenmann
Chief Technical Officer

Pierre joined 21net in 2014 to define and implement the technical strategy for the company’s innovative onboard connectivity solution. As a mobile industry veteran, he brings years of experience in end-to-end network design and optimization. Pierre started his career at Schlumberger, and then joined Nortel Networks where he served as the signal processing team leader and held product marketing and engineering positions. He also worked for ZTE France as CTO and Business Unit Manager and for various start-up companies in the mobile industry.

Pierre graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and has an engineering degree from Telecom ParisTech.

Henry Hyde-Thomson – Chairman

Henry has been founder, chairman, CEO and CTO of multiple successful high-tech companies over a period of more than thirty years. He was the founder and entrepreneur behind ‘Speech Machines’, a speech recognition software company successfully sold to Philips. Previously, he invented and developed ‘unified messaging’, an integrated voice/fax/email messaging system that was awarded US and international patents.

Henry graduated from Oxford University with first class honours in Physics, and after two years research in astrophysics he qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG). In 1989/90 he was a research fellow in the Department of Computing at Imperial College, London.

Vincent Deltrieu – Board Member

Partner at Innovacom, Vincent joined the Board of 21net as Non-Executive Director upon Innovacom’s first investment in the Company in 2010. He is a skilled Venture Capital investor being daily exposed to high-technology and fast growing innovative Companies. Vincent has a deep engineering background in Energy and Telecommunication industries where he held leading engineering management positions in France and Northern Europe. Vincent holds an Electronics and Computing Engineering degree from Institut national polytechnique de Grenoble, MSC from Telecom ParisTech and MBA from Sciences Po.

Anthony Collinson – Board Member

Anthony founded Katalyst Ventures in 2000 with colleagues and as chairman helped build its private angel network to more than 100 people and raised over £18 million to fund a portfolio of 25 companies. Katalyst Ventures was sold to Octopus Investments in 2007. Now a consultant, he acts as director and observer to companies within the portfolio.
Anthony has a manufacturing, operations and general management background as well as extensive small business experience. He was a director of Porvair PLC and Managing Director of Porvair International Ltd. Previously he has been managing director of Scotfresh Limited, Irish Leathers Group Plc and Holmes Hall Tanners Limited.
